RoboteX Technology

The RoboteX Avatar® Series contains commercially developed technology that has revolutionized the world of personal safety robotics. By taking advantage of the commoditization of hardware, along with major improvements in software, RoboteX is able to produce personal safety robots that are both affordable and practical for the user.

The Avatar® Micro features several groundbreaking technologies that make it the most reliable and advanced personal safety robot on the market.

Technology

Toe-In Tracks
RoboteX's patent pending Toe-In main tracks allow the Avatar® Micro to drive straighter and turn easier at high speeds than parallel track robots. With the Avatar® Micro, users avoid problems such as drifting and over steer. Non-parallel main tracks are adjustable with between 1 and 5 degrees of toe-in.

300 Degree Rotation
With flippers that rotate up to 300 degrees, the Avatar® Micro is able to navigate varying and difficult terrain. The robot can also negotiate obstacles (including stairs) easily and can self-right if flipped upside down.

Track Retention System
RoboteX's patent pending track retention systems provide precise track guidance and secure holding. The main and flipper tracks are kept in place by the combination of internal and external guides. This means that the Avatar® Micro will NEVER lose a track during an operation.

Debris Removal
RoboteX's patent pending debris removal technology allows the Avatar® Micro to operate in all environments, including sand, grass, rocks, gravel and mud. No matter the terrain, the track system will perform by either passing debris through the wheel and track, or ejecting it. Even in the worst of conditions, the Avatar® Micro will maintain mobility.
