Robotic infantry is a reality. ROBOTEX has developed a vision and prototype for an Infantry Replacement Robot to be included in the US Army's Future Combat Systems (FCS) program.
Although current technologies allow for the development of intelligent military robots, to date the military has limited doctrine for using robots in the battlefield. ROBOTEX is developing high utility/low cost robot technology to aid early-entry forces in the fight.
